Golf Championship

EAGA Members & Friends, I
am very pleased and proud to announce that the EAGA will be holding its 26th
Eastern Regional Amputee Golf Championship Celebration at my home club in Attached
you will find your Schedule of Events, Lodging Information, Hotel and Golf
Course Directions and a Press Release Poster. I have also attached a PDF copy
of an article about Saucon Valley Country Club recently printed the Premier
Golf Magazine. There will be room for a total of 92 golfers at 2012 Eastern
Regional. For additional information about Saucon Valley Country Club, please
feel free to contact our Host & Head Golf Professional, Mike Wood at
610-758-7177 or go to our SVCC Web Site at: www.sauconvalleycc.org.
All the staff and members are looking forward to our Championship at the
Club. The Tournament Entry fee will be a little higher but pretty close
to Bethpage & Downingtown. Scramble fees for Sponsors will be
around $240.00 as Club must charge its normal Guest Fee. I
have been able to make arrangements for an “EAGA Tournament
Headquarters” hotel rate at the Hotel Bethlehem of $110.00/night plus

We
will have our Championship Awards Luncheon immediately following our final
round at our Weyhill Guest House, a 200 hundred year old converted farm

in 2012. We truly
appreciate our Members participation and support in the past and sincerely
hope you will come and join us again. Also, please let us know of any
activities that you may be involved in on behalf of the EAGA and golf for
persons with disabilities or any additional news about yourself and your
activities. Anyone wishing to renew
their membership or become a “New” Member of our Eastern Amputee Golf Association Family,
simply check out our Membership Application on our online membership page. 2012 National Amputee
Golf Association Membership – Special The
NAGA has instituted a special NAGA
Membership program for its Regional Affiliates. That special membership
opportunity has been extended for 2012 and any EAGA Member who wishes to be a
member of the National Amputee Golf Association will be able to do so at a Special
Membership Fee of $10.00. Your
NAGA Membership Fee will actually stay with the EAGA and be applied to the
EAGA’s Milas Rose Fund. This
Fund provides for complimentary EAGA Memberships to any wounded soldier who
wishes to play golf and be a member of the EAGA. In 2010, 70 Wounded Warriors received
Memberships to the EAGA through the Milas Rose Fund. The EAGA Office will
send your NAGA Membership information directly to the NAGA Office so they can
update their database and send out your NAGA Membership Card, Bag Tag
etc. I would like to encourage all our
EAGA Members to join the NAGA if you do not already belong. For NAGA to have
a greater presence in soliciting support from the prosthetic and golf
companies as well as other business that support our goals, it is very
important that we assist our National organization continue to increase its
membership ranks. This special membership program will help us to do just
that. Remember that if it wasn’t for the NAGA and their support, the
EAGA would never have been organized and be thriving today. Thanks for your
consideration of a NAGA membership. Please come and help us continue to bring
